Wondering how to do picture study? Just think of it as show and tell.

1. Show the picture to your child and enjoy looking at it together for a few minutes.
2. Take it away and ask, "What can you tell me about the picture?" Let them tell. They will give a description of the impression it left.
3. Finally, hang the picture up in your homeschool space to be enjoyed all month. 

Tip! Mention the author's name and they will get to know this author through the year.
