How to Refresh Your Homeschool Desk

You can refresh your desk in just 15 minutes in 3 simple steps: clear, clean, and beautify!  Try out our suggestions for lemon scent & color scheme.

You will need:

• 3 plastic bags
• Spray bottle (fill with Water, Dawn, Lemon Oil)
• Microfiber cloth
• Lemon oil (optional)

Step 1: Clear the desk

Clear off the desk and sort items into bags labeled: keep, trash, donate.  After it is cleared, think about how to make this space pretty or handsome.

• Tip: Think uncluttered & practical for school use!
• Tip: Open a window to air the room for a few minutes too!

Step 2: Clean the desk

Next, spray the desk and chair with solution and allow to soak for a few minutes.  Wipe well with your microfiber cloth. 

• Tip:  For an extra fresh scent, sprinkle with lemon oil and wipe.

Step 3: Beautify the desk

Finally, make the desk pretty by placing school supplies in a pretty container and adding a few simple decorations to the space.

• Tip: Carefully choose a color scheme.  Example: white, gray, green.
